Or been told you can't play at a venue because your equipment had not been tested? Almost all of the hotel chains and other function, wedding venues will not let you play with out one!
It is also a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Firstly I'm a musician, but I'm also a Portable Appliance Tester, specialising in testing for musicians, bands, venues and studios.
Using the latest equipment we run all the required tests, check for correct fuses and carry out minor repairs.
I provide a mobile P.A.T testing service in and around London and the home counties. If you only have a few items you can bring them to me in Chesham, Bucks.
You will be provided with a laminated certificate along with a register of appliances with the test scores.
