Notes from Apache John: "'Live' Recording At The Half Moon, Bishop's Stortford, Herts, On 28th Feb 2008. The song is about a man who's spending a lot of time and effort looking to find a lifelong 'soul-mate'. Yet, the irony is this:- that the person the man is looking for - well, she's already constantly in his daily life, except he doesn't know it."

A truly magical evening The PumpHouse Arts Centre, Watford on Tue 2nd Oct 07
The PumpHouse Arts Centre's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. rated as one of our top reviews "Really mellow vibe"... you're not kidding! These guys have got mellow vibes by the bucket load, not to mention great songs, excellent musicianship and the kind of real togetherness that you rarely see in "live" music these days. Amazon Jan underpinned everything with a steady bassy beat on the Tubano whilst Apache John sang and played his own compositions. With Mike's weaving harmonica ducking in and out the three of them created a really full sound. There was some good banter too... before each song Apache John let us in on some of the ideas behind the writing... some good hippy stuff with an edge of hard reality thrown into the mix. A truly inspiring PumpHouse evening... can't wait to see some more!

Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page.
