Lively function band with both professional, and semi professional musicians, now in its 9th year as a gigging entity, providing a mix of classic sounds. Funky Soul, eye popping Disco and sublime Ska, topped off with some Rock and Roll and smooth ballads. Area 52 can be booked in four different formats allowing you to choose what suits your budget, space and choice of music. The first set up is a nine piece band led by the two female vocals using our own PA and lighting. For an additional cost, this can be augmented by a lead male vocal. The next two choices again start with the nine piece band led by the two female vocals but with a full pro operated PA rig and lighting controlled by two qualified sound and light engineers. A real wall of sound. This again can be augmented by the addition of a male vocal. Some of the songs we play are male vocal specific and these are listed accordingly in the songs section of this page and if you want the band playing those songs then you will need to choose one of the ten piece set up options. Area 52 are one of the most lively function bands available and can make any occasion jump from the first note to the last. Loud? yes, professional? definitely, Worth booking?......well just read the reviews.
