What a blast! The Village Hall, Chalfont St Peter on Sat 11th Aug 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. John, Clint and Neil, as usual, Beavering away at laying down some great sounds. Start off at full speed and there is no let up (except for Need Your Love So Bad) - a great way to spend a Saturday night! Only introduced to this band this year but have become an ardent supporter - JR you know who I am!! Great gig - keep 'em coming.
Allan, Mon 13th Aug 07
Reply from Beaver: Hi Allan, Thanks for the review ... So glad you enjoy the band ... It makes our evening worth while to see you guys having a good time ... Thanks again JR
Hot, Sweeeeeeet & Sticky!!! The Reformation, Reading on Sat 24th Feb 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Get in there! Or at least try! This place is officially one of the smallest gigs about. Yet the Beaver train keeps rolling on. Neil, JR & Clint were visibly wasting away as they smashed their way through three blinding sets of original and cover material.

And as far as audience participation is concerned, what a bunch of nutters! They just didn't know when to stop. The drink was flowing; the band were great and you had to squeeze past Clint if you wanted to drop a load in the ladies! Nice.

Wealth of talent The Packhorse, Reading on Sat 14th Oct 06
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Every time I have seen this band, they never seem to amaze me. The light show is for what effectively should be an arena-proportioned rock band is just astounding. Lasers, smoke machines, The Works!

The wealth of talent and experience these guys supply is truly over-whelming. At this particular event the amount of underwear that rained upon the stage was just unbelievable and that was supplied mainly from the male section of the audience!

Seriously, these guys were the featured band on Lemonrock a couple of weeks back and deservedly so. They are brilliant and make for a thoroughly entertaining night out. Don't miss them!

Thanks guys!
Nozy, Mon 30th Oct 06
Reply from Beaver: Hi Nozy, So glad you enjoy the band ... The underwear thrown at us came as a suprise to me ( hope it dosn't mean that we are pants !!) .. I think I understand the first sentence you wrote !! Take care, and hope to se you again soon. JR
great gig The Village Hall, Chalfont St Peter on Sun 28th May 06
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Another fantastic night out watching Beaver - good to sing along to! Great music, performance and most important, the most fantastic lighting anywhere - what more could you want?
nat, Sat 21st Oct 06
Reply from Beaver: Hi Nat, Thanks for taking time to do a review .. It's great to hear what the audience think about the band .. We feel that the lighting does make a real difference to the perfomance, and we would like to use it at more venues. But unfortunatly there are many retrictions that make it impossible .. Please make yourself known to us if you see us again .. JR (Bass)

Rock 'n' Roll Queen was written by Clint , this number is performed live with the aid of a click track sent to Neils Headset and producing a full brass section front of stage. Drummer Neil Dowling dones the headphones and is the backbone behind this larger than life track.

Also written by Clint is " The Haunted House" a true story of "Strange goings on" in a mansion in Burnham Beeches , the band lived there in the 1970s. (and survived)

Mystery Mr Postman was written whilst waiting for a cheque to arrive . but as you well know they never do. Clint said " I could'nt believe my eyes when the F@c*k% GRATTENS Catologue came through the letter box".
Applause
