Big Chief plays a heady mix of jazz, blues, ska and South African township music. There is a smaller unit within the band which works under the name of "Home Cookin'"
The Big Chief line up is: trumpet, trombone, Sax and vocals, guitar, keyboard, bass and drums.
Home Cookin' line up is: sax and vocals, guitar, bass and drums.
