Black Friday, 'folk-rock's finest'- we are cornwall/plymouth based punk-folk band, a brew of traditional celtic music, original songs and covers by the likes of Flogging Molly, The Pogues and The Clash. We have been invading Devon and Cornwall with our high energy celtic songs and foot-stomping folk for two and half years, taking our prisoners at pubs, clubs and festivals. We've even taken the odd bride hostage. We stormed London for the third time this October at clubs in Soho and Shoreditch, and returned for Gaz's xmas shanty knees up. Highlights of summer 2007 were main stage Maker Festival - thanks to everyone in saturday nights manic crowd, and Port Eliot lit fest, the final act on the Ha ha stage. This February marked a big break for the band as the featured band in Mark Lamaars Radio 2 Friday Night Show. What a blast! Our Maker 2006 live album is sold out/given out but do not panic- we are in the process of making the second live album (maker 2007) and will probably order another batch of 2006's. Our first studio album is pencilled in for later in the year, we have a summer of festival fun, more song writing, lots of cider drinking, partying, pillaging and looting - all planned for 2008. Rock on!
