The Blue Angel Acoustic Café has been running since 1997 at The Horn in Victoria Street, St Albans. Hosted by Bill Johnson, the club is largely an open forum for singer songwriters trying out original material, with occasional main sets from the best floor spots and visiting artists. The presentation is informal and the atmosphere friendly, with a good house P.A. and intimate lighting. Unbooked floorspots should aim to get there early (7.30).
