 A quiet Night Out? 4 Rock's Sake on Sat 22nd Mar 08 | |
  We were unexpectedly treated to an evening of "live entertainment" to which my ears are still ringing! One song after another and all great songs - very loud but the place was rammed. They did songs by Clapton, Free and Deep Purple (Smoke on the water) which is a favourite of mine, and the only disappointment was that it was so busy we could not see the band most of the time.
They were very entertaining. | |

| Reply from 4 Rock's Sake: Thanks for your kind comments Kadie. Hope your ears have recovered now! We will try to control the volume thing a bit better in future as we want everyone to get maximum enjoyment. The trouble is, all our controls go up to 11!!
Joking apart though, we also had some really good feedback from Bob and Jan the licencees who have booked us for a monthly gig at the Monkey for the rest of the year, so if you can catch another show please make yourself known to us. Best Wishes 4 Rock's Sake! | |

 It is a rare thing to hear a set that is banging all the way through. These boys must have thought long and hard about their list as it was spot on. It was great to see such a tight band (in such a small town) giving the crowd what they wanted. I still can't believe that this was a free show - I will definitely be seeing them again. | |

 It's rare to see a band who instantly grab your attention and won't let it go. However, Indigo Charlie don't just turn your head, they arrest your senses with an uncommon rock and roll thrill.
Covers bands need to be outstandingly good to make them worth it, but it has been a long time since I have enjoyed such a contemporary and dazzling performance of energy, showmanship and top class musicianship too.
Simply put, if I had a venue I would book these boys up straight away because they can be massive. | |
