Jazz, folk, pop, blues and soul are played and fused together.
Players
Led by Roger (Van the Band, Otis Lifts, Minds Out Of Time etc.) the players in CEFJ have at different times included Kirsta (Kara, Vox Angelica), Mick (Bluehounds), Phil (Harmonica Lewinsky, Otis Lifts) and Ray (Phoenix Blues Band). This means the personnel of the duo/group may change and new names are added.
It's an opportunity for a small group of musicians, usually a duo, to find common ground then design a creative musical path that may touch several of the above genre. It sounds a bit vague but it usually works!
Having said all that, it could be a solo gig!!! Best check the diary to find out.
