 Car park for around 20 cars. Food available (lunch and evenings) - both bar snacks and full menu. Pub games include pool table darts, cribbage, dominos and chess and pub quizzes. Also juke box, large screen TV and real fires in the winter.Dogs allowed in public bar. Real ales including Courage Best are served - with more on the way. Large childrens play area and beer garden at rear of pub, heated smoking area with t.v. facilities.

  I first caught Laurence's live set in The Farmers Boy a few years ago and he sounded great then but now he really has grabbed the audience well. Right from the first song I heard which was "Sweet Home Alabama" to the last song which was a cover of "Leave Right Now" by Will Young, the audience loved every minute. The audience and myself had a fantastic night. | |

Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
