Dave Rich Band[Acoustic/Electric Rock & Pop, 4 piece] Based: Tavistock

The DRB are a south-west based, 4piece outfit based around the music of Dave Rich.
They have been featured on BBC radio Cornwall, Devon, Leeds, cardiff, westmids, and others and also some commercials stations such as South Hams Radio and Virgin. Recently they were also featured on Westcountry television.
They also play extensively around the region, playing large venues such as The Point in Cardiff to small pub gigs. They have a loyal and growing fanbase and their promotion is excellent.
They play a mix of covers and originals, depending on the venue - but it's all funky, jazzy and full of creativity.

  It takes a lot to drag me from my lovely cosy home on a night that's blowing a gale and pouring with rain. But any resentment of wading through the elements was quickly dissolved. I had heard and read reviews but this was my first night at a live Dave Rich Band gig. The sound is really tight, and Dave has a great voice. I loved their own tracks and frustrated that I wasn't familiar with them, I have resolved to buy Overload. Having just finished a hectic tour, I detected not a murmur of road fatigue. They were sharp and having fun. I loved them. | |

 [Sun 24th Dec 06] Well what a year we've had. Re... Well what a year we've had. Recording and releasing Overload, followed by the UK tour and excellent reviews - it's been an amazing year and I want to thank everyone for their support and kindness.
This year we'll be releasing an EP - possibly an album, but we're not going to rush into that, there's alot of play left in Overload and we've got a load of venues yet to gig in.
No xmas gigs this year which is kinda nice in a way - we are doing new years eve and then kicking off the new year proper at our Home pub - The tavistock inn on the 5th of January.
Onwards and upwards - thanks for reading and to all here on Lemonrock have a splendid new year - and lets hear it for Great Live Music!
