Day Release are a female fronted 5 piece rock covers band based in Torbay, Devon.
We have a great variety of tracks going through the ages, covering some older rock groups such as AC/DC, Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Sex Pistols and The Undertones as well as some modern bands like Stereophonics, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, plus many more and with our female vocalist adding a different dimension to these familiar songs. We try to please the young and the old (as long as they like it loud and sweaty!).

 This band has got to be seen!
Day Release are a rock band with a difference! Their female vocalist puts her own unique twist on so many well known songs known by people of all ages! This gig at the Golden Lion was one of their best to date and they are getting better and better each time they perform!
If you enjoy a few drinks, a good laugh, a bit of good old fashioned rock and can appreciate people giving it their all, then make yourselves available for the band's next gig in the Jolly Farmer at the end of August.

As a few of us are from Newton Abbot, and regularly drink in The Jolly Farmer, it has become a natural place for us to start our gigging lives and we thank them for giving us that chance.
