The Doctor's TonicA small intimate venue upstairs, called The Green Room, this is a great place to hear people doing their own thing. With a hand-picked selection of emerging and established acoustic and semi-acoustic acts from the area, such as (the bush the tree and me, MacLaren Wall, Pale Marble Movie, No Rush), floorspots are also welcome to add variety to the evening. With a decent sound system and good basic lighting adding an atmosphere of calm concentration, this regular friendly get-together is a welcome addition to the vibrant Herts music scene.

Top Sounds Lost Boys on Sat 8th Jul 06
Lost Boys's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. What a superb sound the Lost Boys put out on the large Doctors Tonic stage.

Plenty of room for the band to work and quality lighting makes them look great too. Great vocals from Lu - she really has taken the frontman mantle now and I don't think I've ever heard the band sounding better!

Long live rock and roll.

A Happy Old Boy Lost Boys on Sat 8th Jul 06
Lost Boys's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Having travelled all the way from the Midlands to see The Boys for the first time with the new line up, I'm sure I was more nervous than most on the night! Those feelings disappeared as soon as I heard the opening numbers and the grin just got bigger as the set progressed! Although I believe only their third gig, the quality renditions of 'go my way', 'rebel yell' and 'walking by myself' to name a few were right up there! It was great to see The Boys rocking again and pass the vocal torch to Lu... Respect!

We want our Logans back! The Logans on Sat 18th Jun 05
The Logans's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Absolutely fantastic, the crowd loved it and the band looked like they enjoyed themselves as well! All original material, they've got some really catchy songs there!

Only pity is that they were supporting another band, and once the Logans had finished the place emptied!

Ooze talent Imicus on Sat 30th Apr 05
Imicus's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. These guys ooze talent from every pore. The new five piece kick a*se, tight, professional, exciting. Miller is a front man with presence, Alex is an exceptional guitarist. Dan is solid Mr. Cool, with Matt a raving loony on bass. Dale on drums keeps them all together.

A great night and future gigs can only get even better.
