catchy & intelligent The Horn, St Albans on Wed 12th Apr 06
Eddie's Brother's trademark original, catchy intelligent pop comprises poetic humourous lyrics with a darker satirical vibe, wry adlibbing and interesting dynamics. Half of father/daughter duo Pale Marble Movie, he went under his solo guise for the evening due to illness. Always using just five strings on a guitar with his own special tuning, his quirky, yet accessible, carefully crafted songs are always exciting and manage to fully capture the audience's attention.
Often telling a story, Eddie's Brother opened with Daniel In The Greenhouse - about a young lad who got his girlfriend pregnant and moved south to live in his cousin's garden to avoid responsibility.
He moved from slower sentimental love song, In My Pocket, to faster-paced Acrobat and beautiful Ambrose Lane, which reflects on childhood memories.
With incredible tone, sensitivity and a soothing sound, he sang about his relationship in Her Bright Idea and finished with uplifting jazzy number Good In Your Life. Special mention must be made of My Favourite War, which ironically compares battles Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and the Falklands in terms of their merit!

[Mon 8th May 06] PORNOGRAPHY
The global value o... PORNOGRAPHY The global value of 'The adult entertainment industry' is about £31.5bn. In the Uk we have 27 'adult channels and the most successful porno film of all time is 'Deep throat' made in 1972 Its earned over £300m and made for £10.000 Im writing a song called 'my robot lover' I think it might make a good advertising jingle. By the year 2050 a fully functional sex toy robot will be available that walks talks and performs thus making vibrators obsolete. My opening line is ''The robot lover's never tired, he's got the stamina of ten. The robot lovers specially wired to make you love again...'' The rest you will have to wait to hear sometime in June I guess. | [Sat 29th Apr 06] Is the war in Vietnam over yet... Is the war in Vietnam over yet? In the 'White house' Georges boys speak of a potential death dance with Iran like little boys who cant make up their minds. Did you used to wear 'bellbottoms' and get them all muddy on rainy days or long walks, and carry signs which spoke of a nuclear holocaust? Well dont worry George and his hawks will look after us. Ive got a shower thats leaking, drip drip drip, soaking the floor till its rotten and we all fall through as the chipboard gives way, but the gardens looking good on a saturday in April.
