Bedford's premier live music venue. Since opening, many of the UK's biggest bands have graced the Esquires stage, including Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Travis, Supergrass, The Beautiful South, Graham Coxon, Super Furry Animals and many more. The venue also runs popular club nights.
In recent months Esquires has hosted gigs by many of the bands tipped for great things in 2005, such as Bloc Party and The Dears.
Esquires is located in the centre of Bedford, a short walking distance from both the Bus and Train Station. You can grab a Thameslink train to and from Flitwick, Harlington, Leagrave, Luton, St. Albans and London (St. Pancras) at frequent intervals, and they run pretty late. |
