FishOuttaWater[Covers 70s - present, 6 piece]
FishOuttaWaterFishOuttaWater are a six-piece band with a reputation for delivering awesome covers from the 70s, 80s, 90s and last week. They cover all tastes from Blur to Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand to Robbie Williams and from Queen to the Cult.

Playing pubs, clubs, private parties, corporate functions and weddings, if it's not on their list and you want it then they will learn it (as long as it fits!). They can also provide music in between the live band which means you don't need to spend money on a DJ and you get the music you want.

Fantastic as usual The Goat, Berkhamsted on Sat 24th Mar 07
The Goat's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Another great night of music. The band tackled "Bohemian Rhapsody" superbly, combined with a wide range of current stuff from the Scissor Sisters and the Kaiser Chiefs through to seriously funky classic stuff which you cannot fail to dance to and sing along with!

It was only when I went to the bar that I realised how much the pub was "rocking".

The band were quality all round in terms of both music and vocals.

This is about the 5th time I have seen them and "I just can't get enough..."

Fantastic Show Claytons School, Bourne End on Sat 3rd Feb 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Fish Outta Water played for our first ever 'Beer & Band' night last weekend. The venue was the primary school hall but the evening could not of been further away than the traditional school assembly! The night was a great success which was mainly due to the fantastic performance of the band. They had the whole hall of over one hundred people on their feet and dancing and singing as loudly as they could. They were shouting for encores and were not disappointed.

The feedback was excellent and everyone really had a great night. We will definitely be doing the evening again and have already booked the band! We would like to thank the band for their energy and enthusiasm - superb!

Reply from FishOuttaWater: Hi Amanda - it was an absolute pleasure - I've said it many times... its not the venue but the audience that makes the gig... doesn't matter whether its a school hall! You guys were fab, dancing from the first song to the last. Thanks for making it fun. See you in Feb 2008
Impressed The Goat, Berkhamsted on Sat 20th Jan 07
The Goat's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Happened to be in the Goat on Saturday, just for a few drinks before dinner somewhere else. FishOuttaWater played a bit before we left to go the the restaurant. We were so impressed that we decided to skip dessert & coffee and go back to the Goat for the last half hour instead. We weren't disappointed and their music brought back a few good memories! Hoping to be able to book them for my 40th later this year!
A music fan, Mon 22nd Jan 07
Reply from FishOuttaWater: Hi "music fan" - glad you came back! We're getting a bit of a following at the Goat as its about the only public venue we will be able to play at due to parties and stuff... Hope to see you there on 24th March.
Amazing Band The Goat, Berkhamsted on Sat 28th Oct 06
The Goat's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. rated as one of our top reviews This is the second time we have been to see FishOuttaWater and we "just can't get enough" - just one of the covers they performed superbly that night.

The band deliver everything you want from a live gig - their performance is tight, vocals are powerful with well harmonised backing.

They cover a wide spectrum of hits ranging from the 70's to present day including great covers of Scissor Sisters, Depeche Mode, The Who, U2 and Robbie. Each cover so superbly performed, with such enthusiasm and energy, they just can't fail to bring a smile to your face and get you on your feet.

Truly, one of the best live bands we have seen.
Sue Allen, Mon 6th Nov 06
Reply from FishOuttaWater: Thanks Sue... I'm getting a bit worried that everyone is raving about the 80s classics! Look forward to seeing you at the Goat on the 2nd December! We're adding a few more 2006 anthems at that gig. Peaceman

[Sat 21st Jan 06] I take it all back.... I've b... I take it all back.... I've been to some great places in the past couple of weeks. I reckon its got nothing to do with the venues and everything to do with the people that support live music. You can go to some places and the bands are superb and people treat them like jukeboxes... other places the crowd really work with the band to make the night rock. So I guess well stick with the good places like the Queens Head in Henley, the Goat in Berkhamstead and the Wellington Arms in Watford.
[Thu 29th Dec 05] Where have all the music venue... Where have all the music venues gone? I've been trying to get the band back into the pubs/clubs (we mainly do parties) and I can only find 3 venues with decent set-ups... What's going on? Surely with the upsurge in Live Music of recent years people are clamouring for this sort of place... or is it just Buckinghamshire... mail me at info@fishouttawater.co.uk if you have any places we should play in Bucks and surrounding counties.
