Welcome to the live music & gig venue site for the Fox & Hounds pub in Church Crookham, near Fleet in Hampshire.
We stage live band nights on the second, third & last Friday of every month.
We've had a great range of bands from rock covers to blues. All live, no backing tracks & no karaoke!
Fancy a beer? We've got a great range of lagers including Kronenbourg 1664 and San Miguel, real ales like London Pride, Courage Best, & Speckled Hen draught and bottled beers (Corona, Bud etc) at sensible prices and cracking menu of home cooked food (we even hand cut our own chips), available until 9pm. Phone ahead to book a table and then watch the band after your meal. Check out our theme nights listed below too.

Bands: We're on the lookout for great local cover bands to play on our Friday nights. If you're in a good quality 3 or 4 piece covers band or maybe acoustic solo/duo and you'd like to play the Fox & Hounds, please send a demo CD, setlist and contact details to Simon Price at the address below. No promoters or agents please, just local bands.

|  | Sounds of the Suburbs  Sounds of the Suburbs are a 5-piece indie/punk/pop covers band with a powerful sound who perform songs from the greatest bands from 70's punk, to 80's New Wave and modern indie songs of today. Bands in their repertoire include, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Blondie, The Ruts and The Members to Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives, Stereophonics & Supergrass. Lots of crowd pleasing numbers plus some pogo-inducing tracks which guarantee to get any venue up and jumping. 9pm - 11pm band only |

 I was at the F & H to witness this great 3 piece Blues/Rock trio. With Taff on guitar, Ian on bass and Eddie on the drums, these guys really rock! I really like the versatility of the material used, everything from Freddie King through to Paul Weller and even a couple of Bob Marley numbers to really mix it up! SS don't waste too much time on extended soloing either, although Taff is perfectly capable if required. Moving between out and out rockers, (Wishbone Ash's Blind eye) to tasteful ballads, (Joe Bonamassa's Asking around for you) there really is something for most tastes here. I hope to see the band back here again soon, it was a fabulous evening. | |

| I'm not normally a fan of blues, but these guys were great. Really tight little three-piece that played and sang really well. Guitarist was exceptionally good, with spellbinding solos on his Strat. Good mix of tunes and banter between songs too. Hope the Fox and Hounds book them again, would come back to see them. | |

 Caught the last half hour of this band and they were great! They played old stuff like The Who and new stuff like Monster and Basket Case. Great for jumping around to. Will be back to see Wag The Dog again. Didn't realise this pub has started doing live bands so will bring a few mates down next time. | |

| Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
