Traditional Village Pub, in picturesque setting, opposite the oldest functioning Cricket ground in England. Great Summer pub with huge external trade areas to front and rear of pub. Excellent south facing rear garden. Skittle Alley & alternate function room, both with private bar facilities. Live music (rock orientated) every Monday evening without fail, regular weekend gigs (see web diary for details), and others thrown in for good measure. Live Jazz music every Sunday, regular house pianist Tamsin Jolly, with regular appearances by others (trio's, sax, swing etc). Some outside gigs in the summer. Great choice of food, and probably the best Sunday lunch for miles.
