The Gadge Band[Acoustic Covers, Duo]
The Gadge BandFor a great nights musical entertainment come and see The Gadge Band. Featuring Phil on acoustic guitar and lead vocal and Gadge (it's his band you know!!) on Conga's and backing vocals. They provide a unique take on popular songs by artists including Beatles, Prince, Outkast, Hayseed Dixie, Amy Winehouse, U2, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Tenacious D and legends that are Chas n Dave!! They even do The Girl from Ipanema in true native Portuguese...and French...and German....and even Japanese! They have recently played their first kazoo duet together and are currently in rehearsal to play a rendition of Greensleeves on the Hungarian nose flute. They hope to be able one day to do a panto in Scarborough where they believe they would make excellent dames. See them now and you'll go home with a smile on your face!

Loved them! The Village Inn, Exeter on Sat 10th Nov 07
The Village Inn's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. We always look forward to getting 'alternative' acts here, and Gadge Band are certainly no exception. The band is a refreshing change to our usual acts and are always guaranteed crowd-pleasers. They are true entertainers and have a lovely blend of humour and wit. They are extremely talented With Phil's excellent guitar and vocals, and Gary's harmony and bongos, they are becoming more polished and professional with every gig.
We look forward to having them back here again soon.

Midweek Pleasure The Globe Inn, Exeter on Wed 25th Jul 07
The Globe Inn's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. It was a quiet night in the Globe on Wednesday but that didn't stop the Gadge boys giving it their all and treating the small crowd to a great night.

An excellent mix of songs played and sung really well.

The "relaxed" Gadge Band style is bound to bring a smile to your face so do yourself a favour and get along to see them if you can.

awesome Private Party, Exeter on Sat 21st Jul 07
Private Party's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. If you're thinking of booking these boys for your function then don't hesitate. The Gadge Band played at our evening reception - everybody thought they were awesome - we already knew that (that's why we booked 'em!). They got everybody up dancing and really made the night. They are original and will play something for everyone (from Oasis, Tenacious D and the Beetles to Britney Spears and the show-stopping legends that are Chas 'n' Dave - encore!) and the on-stage chemistry between them is something to behold! They don't take up much room and won't drink all your beer. Highly recommended.

Awesome! The Black Horse, Exeter on Fri 6th Apr 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. First time at the Blackie and once again the boys did good!!! The band members compliment each other brilliantly and whenever and wherever they play, they create a great atmosphere. Their chosen sets are always excellent with numbers that get the audience singing and tapping their feet......AWESOME!

These guys enjoy performing as much as we, the audience, enjoy listening!!!!

Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page.

[Tue 1st Aug 06] What an excellent afternoon! Well worth rushing back from surfing for, to see the pair of lads all scrubbed up and performing wonderfully. After seeing so many gigs with full PA for these guys, it was a pleasure to hear what they REALLY sound like.... - Nikki
