What is it? Gig-Text enables fans to receive gig alerts FREE to their mobile phones!
Mobile sign-up charges
Members of the public: When you sign-up to this alerting service by sending us a GIGS message to 82085, you pay only your normal network rate. We will respond to your text with a welcome message confirming the details of your alert, and details of how to unsubscribe. You will receive FREE alert messages from Lemonrock, whenever your specified band/artist posts new gigs on Lemonrock. To see the gigs, your phone must have a web browser. Your network operator may charge you for using your browser - please check.
Termination by you
You are free to unsubscribe from the Lemonrock Gig-Text service at any time by texting the special code STOP GIGS to 82085. When we have received a STOP message from you, you will no longer receive any gig alerts from Lemonrock, and you must re-subscribe if you want any more alerts.
Time of sent texts
We will send text alerts to you at 11.00am every day if there are new gigs to send.
Message format sent to us 1. All messages that you send to us must consist of the word GIGS followed by a space, then the unique band code.
2. All band codes consist of one word.
3. The message that you send may be in UPPER CASE (CAPITALS) or lower case, or any mixture of the two.
Keying mistakes - general
If you send us a code for a band that does not exist, a band that has not set up alerting, or a band whose membership has expired, we will ignore your message, and you will not receive any message back from us. Please ensure that you type the SMS code EXACTLY as shown on this site, or on the band's flyer or poster.
Gig cancellations and listing errors
It is possible that we will send you alerts for gigs that are subsequently cancelled or postponed. It is your responsibility to check with the venue before attending any gig. Lemonrock does not accept any responsibility for gigs that are cancelled, incorrectly scheduled, or inaccurately described, including, but not limited to: artist details, venue details, date, venue location, start time and entry price. No refunds shall be given for any subscription.
General Information
Lemonrock's mobile phone text-message gig alert system is called Gig-Text. It is a standard-rate (non-premium) mobile service operated by www.textanywhere.net.
