Formed during 2003 Kim Hoyland (guitar), Clive Irvin-Gizzie (drums) and Jon Rodd (keyboards) met. Their aim to make great music and gig it. Various band names were thrown around and finally ended up with HUSH (after the Deep Purple number). This got the thumbs up and the Classic Rock direction was established. Following numerous auditions to complete the line-up with the right personnel, Chris Lambert was recruited on Bass Guitar, sealing the rhythm section and then Mitch Coleman joined after the two previous vocalists weren't happy with the direction they were being taken in.
Unfortunately during 2006, Kim called it a day with HUSH, to follow his own musical direction. Following a "HELP" phone call, Neverwinter guitarist and mate of Clive and Jon's, Rich Shillitoe was recruited into the line-up and his style of lead guitar adds another dimension to the sound.
As a Classic Rock covers outfit HUSH play a varied set list which include numbers from bands such as Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath to name a few, but they are able to draw from a comprehensive set list which not only include the Classic numbers, but also a few surprise numbers that have been Hushified.!!!!!!!
