JAK THE LAD are a no nonsense 5-piece Bournemouth / Poole based rock covers band that are rapidly regaining their reputation for providing a rollicking good night out with their mix of competent musicianship and obvious enjoyment of playing to live audiences. JAK THE LAD was originally founded in 1989, and was a regular feature at local music venues during the late 1980's and 1990's.
JAK THE LAD reformed with a new line-up (including 3 of the original members) late in 2003, and staged their first comeback gig at Mr. Kyps in Poole at a private function in December 2003.
