Janey Rocked the Rock Gardens The Rock Gardens, Weston-super-Mare on Sat 18th Apr 09

This was the first of Janey's gigs I have made it to and is guaranteed not to be the last. Having heard the album through others I was keen to see this amazing talent live, and believe me I would have paid double to see it too! Janey was fantastic and along with her band belted out some cracking rock tunes. The set was an emotional rollercoaster with a mix of songs from the album "Along the Way" and new songs that have only recently been added to the set. The hour and half-ish set flew by with ending with the track "sometimes" which is dedicated to Janey's brother Ian. I left the gig on a high and have been singing the songs for days! Can't wait for the release of some of the new songs and will be hitting another of Janey's gigs soon.
