 Live music as God intended The Vibes on Fri 29th Feb 08 | |
  What a great night at Kitty's, the place was absolutely buzzing from the first song to the last and if you stood still for a second you could literally feel the floor bouncing.
I've never seen the place so busy and will definitely be looking to check out the vibes again soon. I'm a regular follower of local bands and i just didn't want the night to end.
Best songs of the night for me were 'Chelsea Dagger' and 'I predict a riot', both played fantastically well and also some classic Stereophonics thrown in for good measure, Local Boy in the photograph... what a tune! | |

What a quality night I had! These boys were nailing tune after tune of my favourite bands, Oasis, Chillies, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, The Killers etc etc, the two sets were bang up to date.
The music was full of energy driven by a quality drummer and the band overall were really tight. The lead singer was pure class, a real pleasure as a lot of covers bands I hear are let down by weak vocals. This was definitely not the case here and the band delivered - big time. My favourite track of the night was Dakota by the Stereophonics - close your eyes and Kelly Jones was in the room... ha ha.
The atmosphere in Kitty's was really good, a great place to watch live music. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes and ears on The Vibes and I'll be at other gigs in the future. | |

We are still a relatively new band on the Plymouth scene but we have managed to already get a large number of gigs for 2008 with hopefully many more to follow so keep checking back on here and also on our website www.thevibesplymouth.co.uk for the latest gig bookings and hopefully see you at a gig soon.

 The atmosphere was great and people were really friendly and most importantly I thought you guys were awesome. My favourite track was the one you played at the end of your set although I did enjoy the others as well. I really enjoyed the acoustic sound and I am looking forward to seeing Sangreal as a four piece. Thanks for a good night. | |
