Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Mooses on a roll Tring Squash Club, Tring on Sat 12th Dec 09
Moose on the Loose came to play for my wife's birthday party at Tring Squash Club. The audience were friends, squash players and plenty of moosicians or people who pretend to be like me...

The response was fantastic, everyone had a great time and I had lots of people ask where I got the band because they may book them for other events.

The music style was perfect for the event, tight and good sound level for the venue, plenty of dancing went on as well which carried on for almost all of the evening. Special mention must go to the unassuming guy with the strat, Barry, who seemed to nail everything just perfectly and also Tony for the surprise singing from behind the drum kit.

Compliments must also go to the "Moosettes" of the evening - sounded great.

Thanks to Tony and the guys.

Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Great band, great time Tring Squash Club, Tring on Sat 12th Dec 09
The 12th was fantastic; great music, great atmosphere and the fact that the birthday girl had no idea that Moose on the Loose would be playing was good fun.

The hits were classics that most people knew and either sang along, or danced to. I liked the fact that various members of the band all sang and also the flexibility which meant the organisers, family and friends contributed to the music singing along to 'Mustang Sally', playing the harmonica and guitar and participating in a 'twist competition', where we all got badges to keep :).

There was a good range of songs played and sung; Jimi Hendrix, Van Morrison and the bands' own compositions.

The band themselves were very friendly and outgoing and all smiles. The playing and singing were perfectly complementary; talking to several people, we all agreed that Moose on the Loose were a brilliant choice of band. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening and a great way to celebrate a surprise (ish) birthday party.

Thanks guys!

Rating 6/6 : Brilliant live is best! on Sat 28th Mar 09
The Moose can really make things memorable and entertain anyone that enjoys good music! My birthday party was really great thanks to their varied music aimed at the right age group- and good dance stuff too. They are especially good at Eric Clapton Eagles and Fleetwood Mac! Something special can be sorted when they have notice, and they didn't seem to mind my play list. Don't hesitate to ask - they seem very accomodating to most request and have pre-made music for their breaks so no quiet gaps! The old boys really know their stuff and really look to be having a ball whilst keeping everyone on the floor - just brilliant! My mates are still talking about the party and a few took details of how to catch up with the lads. General census of opinion seems to be: find another excuse for a party so we can get them back. Great music, nice people and good fun!

Rating 5/6 : Very Enjoyable Moose on the loose rocks The Dun Cow, Stevenage on Sat 1st Nov 08
First time I have seen this band live, and was very impressed by the diversity of music, and the way the band gelled together. They all seemed to having a great laugh, whilst at the sametime keeping us entertained with hit after hit.
Albatross, jumpin Jack Flash were excellent, and getting the female drinkers up singing for Mustang Sally was pure genius.
Well worth a look and I'm already trying to get my biker group to book them for the summer next year.
