Music on the Moor Boxmoor Trust, Hemel Hempstead[Festival]

Looking ahead to Summer 2007, the Trust is delighted to announce that Music on the Moor will take place over the weekend of 7th-8th July.
The Box Moor Trust is pleased once again to be working alongside Hemel Hempstead School, Dacorum Music School and Dacorum Borough Council, as well as representatives from the local business community.
We are aiming to achieve a good balance between amateur, semi-professional and professional acts, in order that performers of varying levels of experience can be represented. We hope that, once again, many of Dacorum's schools will take part.
There will also be a fully licensed bar and hospitality area. If we are lucky enough to get the glorious weather we enjoyed in 2005, Music on the Moor 2007 promises to be a fantastic weekend |

 The Difference... AbaKus on Sat 7th Jul 07 | |
  This is a covers band with a difference - a band that never emulates any other artist but goes straight to the spirit, the heart, the very soul of the music.
I have had the pleasure of seeing AbaKus in many venues, large and small, and on every occasion the enjoyment and participation of the hugely appreciative audience was palpable, the performance always unique.
Their sheer musicianship and professionalism draws the listener in to share the band's respect for and delight in the music they play.
I could wax very lyrical about Jay's stunning vocals from the soul; Simon's vocals and lead guitar riffs that touch the heart; Adam's wonderfully punchy bass licks; Dave's masterly and innovative drumming... There, I have!
This is a band which satisfies both audio and visual senses and fills every performance with energy and joy.
Deservedly, their following is growing. Be good to yourself - go to a gig - you'll be hooked! | |
