 what a night Fourplay on Fri 20th Jul 07 | |
  As expected the boys delivered with the usual urgency and raw power. Fourplay really do put their own edge on all the classics, making 30 year old songs sounding refreshed and reborn, which many bands just can't do. The Bono-style front man brings the whole band together with his unique charm and his ability to sing in tune, like a mad man jumping around into the audience with his radio mic. Where this guy get his stamina from who knows. The song that really stands out got to be "Ain't no Sunshine", a stunning version with Bono sitting on a chair at the start, slow and easy, then the blistering guitar solo in the middle, sounds like the dogs of hell are chasing this guy, then total power chords and thundering drums to the end. | |

 You haven't got the gig that you did at the Red Lion Great Offley on the list, but here's my review:
Just wanted to say we thought you were great and really enjoyed the stuff that you did, although we were watching you through the window due to the lack of room inside (he he) we had a gud night :)

Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
