 You gotta catch these guys! 3 piece band, absolutely brilliant, superb covers including Jam, Police, Greenday, Arctic Monkeys, with their own versions of stuff like "Nothing compares to you", "Mrs Robinson" and loads more, very often at The Spinning wheel, Paignton. | |

| Palm Mute looked really young and I was very surprised by the way they played. They were extremely tight and looked like they were enjoying themselves on stage. They played a few covers and got the crowd going which was nice to see. | |

 As a rather ancient music fan it was good to see a band that cares about presentation and humour. I enjoyed this gig very much, and YES they are better than the Sex Pistols! | |

| What a show My Pet Junkie on Sat 18th Feb 06 | |
 This gig was on everybody's lips the moment it was confirmed, the almighty My Pet Junkie making their debut in Torbay. The band took to stage playing a blinding 45 minute acoustic set. Admitting that they hadn't performed most of their set acoustically for 12 months, they whipped the audience into a frenzy with ease, letting their personalities shine onto the crowd also. Then local band ZENN performed a 30 minute support slot, their first gig in four months. The band rocked the Wellhouse with highly polished indie disco rock tunes. "More!" the audience shouted after the band had played their last number. "See you in another four months!", they said back.
MPJ returned to the stage to play an hour and 15 minutes of their pure indie rock tunes. Encore after encore were demanded by the audience, winning ovations and even one during a song! Absolutely brilliant. | |
