Through the nightmare that can be musician replacement, the Peace Takers strive for musical excellence!
Drummers come & drummers go! And apparently, they arrive just like buses! Don't see one for ages and then 2 or 3 come along at the same time! In this case, the Harris Brothers! Steve Harris is currently on the throne wielding Les Batons! His much younger namesake (& no relation) Dave Harris is eagerly waiting in the wings in case the 'old boy' can't make the gig.
Meanwhile, the PTs have been rehearsing in a relaxed manner, bringing about a practically whole new set of covers, using ZZ Top's album "Deguello" as a sound basis to build upon and adopting a different or alternative view of Rocky-Rhythm & Blues for their treatment of the more traditional Bluesy standards.
Danny 'Mr Lovetone' Coggins and Nikos 'Nik the Greek' Pyromalis' prowess upon their various assortment of guitars has rapidly become an integral part to the bands new-ish sound.
And yet, it is still the same old story with the fronting of the "ever-youthful" looks of gob & gob-iron form Mr Parker and the over-impressive & solid bass-spank from the WINCH!
