What an Amazing Show! The Black Horse, Exeter on Sat 28th Apr 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I went to Black Horse tonight for a couple of drinks and found myself staying the whole night to watch Phil. I've never heard and guitarist play like that before and to cap it off his voice is just incredible, really powerful. He sings and plays with such emotion that its hard to take your eyes off him. I can't speak highly enough of him and would recommend anyone out there to go and see him.

Some people think soloist's are not too good, but Phil has changed all that for me.

I'll say it again....GO AND SEE HIM!

Amazing on Sat 14th Apr 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I went to my housemates 50th tonight, and was told that there was going to be a live act on. I thought "oh great another wanna be", but as soon as I heard Phil I was in shock. He was totally amazing! I didn't want to leave my seat throughout the whole time he was playing. In my opinion he was better than most the original artists, he made the crowd feel welcome. I said to the people I was with, he is 100% better than most the acts in the charts at the moment.

This show was amazing, I'm still buzzing from it. When Phil said his time was over the crowd were chanting "we want more" over and over.

What a night! The Showman, Exeter on Fri 15th Sep 06
The Showman's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Flippin 'eck! What a geat night for Phil's birthday! What a great show and a great idea - putting on a jam night for the local musos. You couldn't move for people and had different acts all night. Cheers for a great night mate and you were bloomin great as usual!! Such a tight band for a jam band- do a gig!

cracking stuff Royal Standard, Shaldon on Thu 10th Aug 06
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. What a great night - Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, REM, Sterophonics, ZZ Top and a great Aled Jones cover!

Good times roll when this guy plays and he gets better with age.

He will do requests, is a great showman and can sort out the hecklers.

Dick Scratcher (el-cojones)

PS don't forget that tenner you promised me Phil
