Phil Smyth is a full time professional musician based in the Exeter area. His performances are powerful and energetic, driven by a combination of an amazing voice and awesome lead guitar work which has been causing a stir on the music scene for quite some time. Phil has been performing live for over 15 years playing at venues as far afield as London to New York to Hollywood and beyond. Being a versatile performer he can adjust to suit any situation. He has a wide ranging set list offering different shows perfect for any occasion and venue.
His party set includes classic pop and rock covers, from artists including The Beatles, The Kinks, Commitments , Oasis, T. Rex and a whole host of 60's to present day songs to dance to, perfect for any party or event.
If it's a classic rock set you're after then listen to his amazing guitar show featuring songs by the greats of the guitar world including Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Rolling Stones, Queen, Thin Lizzy through to contemporary classics from the likes of Foo Fighters, The Kaiser Chiefs and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. This set will rock any pub or club.
If it's a more laid back relaxed approach then why not book Phil for his acoustic set. Perfect for a time when an evening of soulful easy listening, quality songs with beautiful melodies is required.

Phil is a member of a few different bands in the South West and also available as a dep guitarist.
Phil is a performer who works with the confidence of a professional musician and clearly enjoys what he does! Available as a fully self-contained solo act which combine his talents along with excellent quality live-recorded backing tracks. Phil's performance gives you that "live gig" experience in any venue (however large or small). A first class Mackie PA system and professional stage lighting complete the mix. Phil's on stage charisma and entertaining persona makes him a performer who stands out from the crowd. An extremely talented musician he is not to be missed and always leaves them shouting for more....
After completing a Btec in guitar performance with honours at Exeter's Academy of Music and Sound Phil is now available for guitar lessons.
