As you can see from their flyers and the decor of the bar (for those of you that have already visited), The Pleasure Unit does have a little bit of a retro thing going on (can't really help that!). These days, due to popular demand, it's more of a live music venue, with the occasional weekend club night thrown in. It's been described as a "diamond in the dust" on the Bethnal Green Road despite the ripped sofas, a slightly slanting dance floor and basic, but clean toilets. It's what our customers want... so be it!
