| | The Natalies A man walks into a bar and orders a beer. As he's sitting there, he hears a tiny voice, "Nice shirt!"
The man looks around, but doesn't see anyone. A little while later, he hears another little voice, "That's a really cool tie."
He looks around to find the source of the voice. But again, he doesn't see anyone. The bartender notices him looking around and asks if everything is okay. The man explains that he's hearing small voices.
The bartender says, "Oh, that's just the peanuts. They're complimentary." 9pm - 11pm Try the NatDiet - three courses of Indie, Pop and Rock. All the taste without the additives. |

Reply from The Rapides: Thanks for the comment Terry, nice to see you there, although as you know I was stuck behind a pillar and the PA !!! - Mick
Not your average pub group The Ploughmen on Thu 27th Mar 08
Billed as a skiffle group
Marvelous. Skiffle and just about everything else.
They looked like a supergroup playing at the local pub and they sounded like one too.
If you catch them at a local north herts pub and for free you will have an evening to remember.
A very interesting selection of instruments played in an informal but professional way.
Hello Mary lou and la bamba are not the normal selection you come across but it all works well.

Rocked! Light Alloy on Sat 8th Mar 08
Standing room only at this gig - usually a sleepy little village, the Plume was rocking all night long. Never seen the pub so packed, and all to hear this brilliant band. Full and varied set, from Greenday, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Prince to Blink 182 and many more, all magnificently performed. Mike was happy to play drums, and I quote, says 'these guys are just brilliant'. Well done to the lead singer's daughter for Radio Ga Ga!
Do not miss the opportunity to see this band - they are brilliant, and I would challenge anyone to say they didn't have a great time!

Reply from Light Alloy: Glad you enjoyed yourselves guys, we certainly had a blast. Couple of points, we don't do any Beatles! and it was the drummer's daughter Lucy who stood in on drums on We Wll Rock You while her day 'had a rest' but apart from that, thanks for your kind words and see you at The Sailor?
rocking Ten Days Unshaven on Sat 21st Jul 07
Now as a trio TDU can still give the crowd exactly what they crave, playing a blistering first set. The second set was even better, with the addition of harmonica for the blues songs. They sounded like a top class band, and the pub landlord even had a spell on the drums!

| Print Flyers | |
|
|
|
| Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
| Flyers limited to 14 days. Get longer flyers by joining Lemonrock - FREE Music Lover membership! | |
