Red Vegas are a five piece covers band, providing high quality, enjoyable entertainment at venues throughout the West Country. The five experienced musicians bring you their own unique versions of classic and contemporary covers from the 60's, 70's, 80's and today. Including: - Beatles, Kaisers, Greenday, Arctic Monkeys, Bowie, Stones, Coldplay, Oasis, Jam, Doors, Stereophonics, Fratellis, Primal Scream, Ocean Colour Scene, Blur, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers and a whole lot more. The band are making themselves known by playing as many gigs as possible in both well known and newer smaller venues throughout the city and a far, with the emphasis on creating a great atmosphere. The constantly expanding set also provides the perfect back drop for functions, weddings etc with an amazing light show and disco available.

 Absolutely loved it again I've been 3 times now I managed to drag a young lad from work who would only ever listen to hip hop and since seeing Red Vegas it's opened his mind to a wider range of music, he absolutely loved it! Everyone loved it, all the great classic tracks that you know and love, it's so good I never want it to end. Looking forward to the next one where I can bring some more people to join in and get their dancing shoes on! Love Jennie (ski's). | |

| We had heard Red Vegas play in Plymouth before and knew that they were good, but we didn't realise they were fantastic! They played 2 sets, and kept the dancing floor packed all night (which is pretty unusual for a wedding). We received a lot of favourable comments from our guests who were very impressed with the band, and it really made the evening of our wedding extra memorable. I Believe in a Thing called Love went down particularly well. Thank you again to Kane and the rest of the band. Red Vegas come highly recommended by us! | |

 They were the icing on the cake for our wedding day.
Absolute quality from start to finish. If you are looking for a wedding band this lot are the complete package. Quality covers from at least 5 decades performed with real passion and enjoyment.
We can't thank them enough for the three sets they performed, and we're sure they will have swelled their fan base considerably. We will definitely be seeing these guys perform again and again as they formed an essential part of our special day. | |

| [Tue 22nd Jan 08] We're still here!!!!............. We're still here!!!!..........Well, erm, what can I say, its been 7 months since my last update and to be honest its gone crazy since then, even The Thistle Pub is knocking on RV's door (interesting). RV have been in-undated with gig offers, weddings, corporate gigs, its mental!!! but they love it. Kane "the band is gradually establishing itself and the reputation is building everyday, if we look back to Nov 06 when we struggled to get even partners and friends to come and see us and compare it to the gig in The Brook Inn on Sat 19th Jan this year, then we have come a long way and its where we wanted to be, but we haven't finished yet. Before we were always ringing venues, now there ringing us which is FANTASTIC!!! just got to conker The Hub, but we still have work to do ie we need to build the following a lot more, but that'll come as it is proving to. The Brook Inn was very busy and we didn't know any of them, so to see a crowd come to see us, gave us all an enormous sense of achievement and satisfaction that they like what we're doing. We have a solid set, which is changing and I think the main point is that we are versitile and cover a few decades and cater for everyone. We just love entertaining and seeing a crowd enjoying themselves with us, we are and will always remain to be passionate about the music and the show we provide, so if you haven't then come and see us". Well there you go people, RV are on the rampage and they need YOUR HELP and SUPPORT, they look forward to seeing you soon. | | [Tue 19th Jun 07] BEEN GONE A WHILE.....So where... BEEN GONE A WHILE.....So where exactly have the faboulous Red Vegas been over the last few months?? Well two of the members were occuppied with new additions to their families and were unable to juggle a band and a newborn at the same time and well, lets be honest music isn't everything. Rubbish! music is what motivates us, music is what makes us remember a time in our lives, a crucial turning point, a sad moment, a first kiss, its a release from the rat race and a break from society, music is why Red Vegas are about to kick of the next chapter of their journey on the 30th of June. 'What was all that in aid of Kane?' 'Erm....not quite sure just seemed like I had summit to say trapped in my head and its finally found its way to the surface. Anyway the point is RV are back and we're here to make our mark. We have some great gigs coming up with many more in the pipeline, we have had a massive number of people visit this site, over 4500, thats immense and we have had loads of people enquiring about us and its all thanks to lemonrock. We are buzzing, we had a practise last week and things are looking promising, with 6 new tracks coming into the set plus more'. Look out for them very soon. |  [Sun 4th Feb 07] 5 months & 9 gigs later: It se... 5 months & 9 gigs later: It seems a very long time now since the new line up of Red Vegas formed back in August 06 and began there quest to indulge themselves into the Plymouth music scene, but since seeing the guys again they are more than happy with their progress. They now have 9 gigs under their belts, 2 of which were in The Cavern Liverpool, where they proved more than worthy to set foot on the stage that was once home to The Beatles. Rich speaks exclusively 'last years gigs were what we saw as a warm up to the new year. This year we have kicked off with 3 fantastic gigs, all of which we went down a storm and the punters wanted us back on the stage, now if we can maintain this consistency and continue to entertain, impress and leave the audience gaggin for more then they'll come back or even follow us and that is what we want. All five off us are here to do what we love and thats play our instruments, but also put on a good show and entertain'. Next Friday the RV guys are playing at The Brook Inn at Plympton, rumour has it that they are set to have a rather large crowd to please and the guys are eager to prove that they have what it takes. This band is fast developing to be one of the city's legend cover bands and also I believe there is some original material about to be set free, watch this space. | | [Mon 27th Nov 06] Lemonrock proves to be a big h... Lemonrock proves to be a big hit!!!! Kane can reveal that since launching the Red Vegas page via Lemonrock on the 8th October, that they have received more than a 1000 hits. Kane: 'in such a short space of time this is fantastic, this hopefully proves that people are looking at us and also following our progress. We see this as a very useful point of contact as we have no website yet, it gives every visitor all the info they need to find out about what we're up to in the near future. We've also had two great reviews of the back of our first gig, which people can read and take into consideration when thinking about coming to see us. The guys will be chuffed with the news | |
