Slippery Dick and J Y Kelly are the 2 legendary front men from El-Cojones Rock and Blues band,
Despite the attentions of the Tax Office and the Serious Fraud Squad, they continue to inflict their unique brand of 'musical entertainment' on the public, their reputation spreading across the west country like galloping herpes. Laughing off all attempts to either civilise or educate them they still rely on alcohol and fart gags to get through the night, occasionally bursting into vaguely recognisable songs they bring their own brand of lunacy to your venue.
These guys can murder any artist's songs with pleasure;
their version of travis's 'why does it always rain on me'
(why do the seagulls sh#t on me) has to be heard to be believed.
Some of their material from the big band given a new slant and some new songs, including some you might not expect. You'll hear stuff by the stones,police,van Morrison,Beatles,Sterophonics,travis,James,rod Stewart,led zep,Whitesnake,mungo jerry,tom Robinson... oh, and Monty Python.
In any set there alter ego's Shillingford Shag and Rumpo may appear
