Sounds of the Suburbs are a 5-piece indie/punk/pop covers band with both male & female lead singers enabling them to perform songs from the greatest bands from 70's punk, to 80's New Wave and modern indie songs of today.
Bands in their repertoire include, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, The Clash, Blondie, The Ruts and The Members to Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives, Stereophonics, The Killers & Supergrass. Lots of crowd pleasing numbers plus some pogo-inducing tracks which guarantee to get any venue up and jumping.
By special request, Sounds of the Suburbs can also offer Live Band Rock Karaoke so the audience can sign-up from a song list and join the band on stage to sing. Check out our gig listings to see whether the gigs include live rock karaoke or the band performing for the whole evening. If you want to hear some cracking covers performed with great passion including a large dose of humour, then check them out!
You can also hear a 4 track demo the band recently recorded and contact the band direct if you want to book them for a private function or any other type of music event.

[Fri 7th Mar 08] Sounds of the Suburbs have a l... Sounds of the Suburbs have a line-up change! Their rhythm guitarist/2nd vocalist Neil, has gone on to pastures new and has been replaced with new man, Graham Judd who has a great deal of live band experience having previously been frontman for 4-piece punk covers band 'The Outfit'. Graham has joined the band in March 08 and is currently rehearsing like a demon to be up to gig-speed by April when the gig schedule kicks-off.
The band is really excited about the addition of Graham as he brings a lot of new ideas plus bucket loads of enthusiasm and passion for live music which has given the band a new impetus to be one of the best live bands on the circuit! | |

| My band before Sounds of the Suburbs. We released one album and one EP of original material and were together 4 years before we finally called it a day. 3 of the original band members are now in covers band Sounds of the Suburbs. |
