Dogz on Heat! Diamondogz on Fri 13th Jul 07
Diamondogz's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. We travelled 200 miles to see these guys play again. They are excellent. They really enjoy what they do and it shows in their performance.

The hits just kept on coming. Loved the Bay City Rollers by the way! Still think the Sweet tracks are the best. Their greatest fan, Sylvia, was there as always, supporting the guys. Just can't describe how much we enjoyed it. Well done boys.

Excellent again Diamondogz on Fri 13th Jul 07
Diamondogz's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Knowing my other half liked 70's glam rock I thought I would treat her to a weekend away when they were performing there again. We drove from Kent to Paignton just to watch them. Managed to get front row seats and we both thought they were excellent! Will be making the journey again soon. Thanks!

hot rockers XLR on Fri 13th Apr 07
XLR's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. What a fantastic rock band, at last a band giving the crowd what they want. A brilliant combination of new and old classics, Zutons, Snow Patrol, Foo Fighters and Razorlight just to name a few. Couldn't keep my feet still and my butt off the dance floor.

Five very talented men, one of the best rock groups I've seen to date. Not only is the lead guitarist awesome, he's also HOT, girls, it's worth going just to check him out...

A great night!

Well Funky Top Band Dodgey Practice on Thu 26th Jan 06
Dodgey Practice's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I was sceptical, not being too big a fan of the commitments / blues brothers etc, but Dodgey Practice turned me. The enthusiasm of their set, the tightness of the horns, the sexy female singers and overall great musicianship had me as close to showing outward enthusiasm as possible when trying to remain 'cool' (Dancing is not my forte!)

I was pleased to see covers such as Incognito, Sister Sledge, Freak Power and Rolls Royce in the set. Certainly qualified them as a Funk based outfit which took me back to the heady days when Acid Jazz ruled the roost in the bay. I would thoroughly recommend this band to any of the Car Wash fans out there.

The drummer had a very clean funky tone to his kit and was obviously very into his playing which circulated around the band. The guitarist's solos shone, he is obviously talented; as is the keyboard player. He had some great sounds and his solos were great also. The brass section were very 'tight' and when the young Sax players took there turn in the spotlight they did not disappoint.

The vocals were excellent, the lead guy had great interaction with the audience and sung well. The two girls sang great in harmony but really shone when they sang there own numbers. Personally I would have liked to have seen more of this. The need to have a front 'man' surely is not necessary any more and these lovely ladies certainly captivated & engaged the audience.

It seemed to me that this gig was not just another pay cheque. Dodgey Practice obviously are a band who thoroughly enjoy gigging and this enjoyment filters through to the packed audience who were dancing and singing along and generally interacting with the band.

Please consider the environment before printing this flyer.
Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page.
