Stuart O'Connor[Acoustic / Experimental / Folk / Rock, Solo Artist]
Main man from 'My Pet Junkie' has written and recorded a full collection of songs that are a long way away from those of the well known band he fronts.
He draws more upon the influence of folk and jazz than that of progressive rock and grunge. He has built up quite a reputation over recent times and has taken on a touring schedule that rivals even the busiest of bands.

Bit Different The Blue Walnut Cafe, Torquay on Fri 20th Jul 07
I came along to this gig not really knowing what to expect, not knowing who was playing, but having heard through the grapevine that Stuart O' Connor's band "My Pet Junkie" had made some waves playing Paignton last year. Most of the acts I've seen there in the past have been rather more established but these two were just as good as the signed acts.
Stuart O' Connor had some interesting textures to his guitar work, unusual tunings and some good songs - "Designed to Stop" standing out in particular. Aussie Paul Green was very chilled and experienced and complemented Stuart's style well. Nice to see them getting together for the encore. Good music, good vibe - might even be encouraged to broaden my tastes a little!
