| Fri 29 Aug | Folk-Rock
| | Kindred Spirit Elaine Samuels (vocals / guitar), who has been featured on TV and radio as well as at festivals such as Glastonbury and Guildford, will be performing a Kindred Spirit duo set with the superb Gavin Jones (electric violin), who is a highly trained classical violin player (even having had private lessons at the famous Yehudi Menhuin School), who also has a flair for jazz, blues and improvisation on the violin. Gavin puts his electric violin through an effects board to create a fantastic range of sound-scapes from delays through to rock distortions.
The Kindred Spirit duo perform a powerful live set of classic pop / rock and contemporary folk covers plus one or two perceptive and intriguing originals.
Expect haunting and beautiful vocals, expert guitar playing and scorching electric violin. 8.30pm - 11pm Excellent guitar / electric violin duo |
