Miss This - Miss Out! Kiss This! on Sat 16th Feb 08
Kiss This!'s pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I finally made it to see Kiss This!, at last!, and they lived up to their great reputation and more. The Crawford was heaving and every person I saw there was having a brilliant time.

This band entertain and perform to a very high standard and every number they played went down a storm with the crowd.

It's difficult to pick out any particular songs because everyone will have their favourites but I loved the way Ian sang "I Don't Like Mondays" - which was a stunning contrast to end the first set; "Eighth Day" - Tanya would have had a standing ovation if it wasn't that most of the crowd were already standing anyway! "Parklife" brought both lead singers out on the floor, was great fun and grooved as it should - and last but no means least - "Mr Blue Sky" - which was nothing short of artistic genius.

Every member of this band (Andrew on drums, Ady on bass and... who's that guy on guitar?.....let me think... XX) made this a very special night and no doubt all their other gigs are of the same high quality.

Don't miss Kiss This! You have been warned!

Flopsy x
P.S. The beer wasn't bad either! :-)

Reply from Kiss This!: Lyn...you star!! What a fantastic review, please stop people will talk :o) Actually several band members asked who the Super Model was, that came up and gave me a hug during the break. It really was nice of you to travel all the way down to see us. I'm looking forward to seeing your new 80's band when they are up and running Cheers KT PS was that you loading 14 crates of beer into your car for your nightcap?
This town ain't big enough Max on Sat 26th Jan 08
Max's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I went to the Crawford expecting a good night but I had a brilliant night!

I don't want to pick out one particular band member cos the whole was more than the sum of the parts put together. Yeah, I know, not exactly original - but a perfect description.

Vocals - energetic, passionate, 100% showgirlship. "Roxanne" was my favourite - Les, you're a star!

Guitar - needs no introduction..... "Gimme Some Lovin" - love ya Big Norm! XX

Bass - Ady, more energy than a bottle of Sanatogen and 3 whisky chasers - you're much too much fun for a bass player!!

Drums - Tom, we are not worthy - "Turn It On Again" - you will be famous and I'll pretend I knew you!

Keys - Steve you are a total wizard... "This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us" - I will therefore envy you forever with your 10 fingers and 3,000 notes - far too many if you ask me!

If you want to see a band that don't wallow in their own glory and just get on and enjoy it, and make sure you do too, then don't hesitate to check out Max!

If you pretend to be a groupie you could even get a hug!

Reply from Max: Lyn You Star!! Its was an enormous pleasure to see you at the gig and an even bigger buzz to get such a glowing review from such a nice person as yourself. Cheers, we all owe you one now ( a hug that is.... you'll have to buy your own batteries!!). Goodluck with the new band, please let us know when you are up and running so we can come and see you . Big Norm
What a Night! Kiss This! on Sat 7th Jul 07
Kiss This!'s pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I've recently started popping over to The Crawford on a Saturday night to see what the live music is like there these days. Well, having seen quite a few bands there now, nothing comes close to these guys!

This simply has to be one of the best night's entertainment I've seen in a long time. From the moment they started, the pub was jumping - a bunch of fantastic songs (which everyone could sing along to), played extremely well with a high level of enthusiasm. Every song they played brought a wide grin to my face and I just couldn't keep still all night. Their intro to Echo Beach was something that will stick in my mind for a long time to come (what a laugh!).

Come back soon guys, you really know how to turn a quiet pub into a party zone. I'll be heading over to The Black Horse in July - make no mistake!

top night Carnaby Street on Sat 28th Apr 07
Carnaby Street's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Just wanted to let everyone know what a top night we have just had at The Crawford - we had Carnaby Street and they were awesome, as was the loads of people that turned up to see them.

We had people up dancing for the first song which doesn't happen very often. A great night.

Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page.
