The New Machine have been performing to capacity crowds, delivering a show of classic Pink Floyd for over 2 1/2 hours with Passion, Creativity and Energy, The 7 piece band play a set of songs from Dark Side of the Moon, Division Bell, Wish You Were Here, Momentary Lapse Of Reason as well as a selection from The Wall, The Final Cut and a tribute to Syd Barrett. The New Machine are then joined by MC Coleman for their exclusive rendition of Another Brick In the Wall which brings the message of positive education to a new generation and is guaranteed to get the audience to their feet. The show features multi-media projections adding to the complete Pink Floyd Experience. The band also pay homage to talented songwriter and ex-band member from Exeter, Bryn Morgan Evans who sadly passed away Dec-2006
The Band Members: Mark Emery- Guitar / Vocals : Mark has been in the music business for over 30 years. Touring for over 15 years as Sound Engineer for Wishbone Ash and The Average White Band amongst others. A classically trained guitarist, Mark is also the Producer and Writer of Interstellar Rockstar, the bands current Album. Jai Darling- Drums and Vocals: Jai has toured with Mad Hatter and played Drums for Killers with Paul Di'Anno from Iron Maiden. Nigel Pike- Bass : Session player associated with Curved Air and The Police. Paul Matthews- Keyboards: Classically trained musician, Musical Director at The Babbacombe Theatre before joining The New Machine. Sam Scott - Vocals. well known on the Blues circuit. Rachel - Backing Vocals: graduate of Exeter Performing Arts College. Dani Turner - Vocals - Backing Vocals. Original member of The New Machine, re-joins the band for these dates. Dani is multi talented, also playing percussion and acoustic guitar.
