The Valetones[R & B, 4 piece]

4 piece Rythmn n Blues Band based in the Tone Vale area of Taunton in Somerset ( hence the name - clever eh? )
Playing a mix of Hoofin' Rythmn and Blues, some more modern numbers, a few smoochers (for those tender moments) and a few originals.
Artists covered include BB King, Robert Johnson, Al Green, Eric Clapton, Cream, Muddy Waters, Joe Cocker, Commitments, JJ Cale, Joe Jackson, Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Mayall, The Doors, Elvis Costello, T Rex, Gary Moore.

Sat 12 Jul	mobile »	The Valetones at Private Function We're delighted to have been asked to play as support band to The ORPHANS - a 15 piece oufit at a Charity Dinner/Auction night in aid of the very worthy ' Make a Wish' Charity. We'll be playing as a 3 piece as Ray will be off playing mainly on the plain in Spain. Looking forward to a Hoofin evening in aid of a Great Cause. The events taking place at Mark House at Mark near Highbridge. 7pm - 11.30pm

Sat 16 Aug	mobile »	The Valetones at The Carew Arms, Crowcombe We're delighted to have been asked to play at the famous Carew Arms Blues and Beer Festival which runs from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August this year and is in aid of a very worthy cause ;- St Margarets Hospice. We're on at 7.00 pm on saturday evening and we're really looking forward to Rockin' the Quantocks see you there ! 7pm - 9.30pm

fantastic band The Bell Inn, Creech St Michael on Sat 2nd Feb 08

This Band were fantastic!

"Summer of 69" was my favourite although i loved "I'm a Believer", "Johnny B Goode" and "Got my Mojo Working" too!

Everyone in the pub was having a good night and singing along and dancing! It looked like the band were really enjoying themselves too.

The guitar solos were amazing especially Hotel California! Playing the harmonica and the guitar at the same time was really impressive! A great gig!

HOT AND SWEATY ! Wow was that the warmest evening of the year or wot?
Just recovering from Friday nights Gig at the pen and Quill - it was a warm one must have downed about 4 pints of water in the first set alone ! Thanks to everyone that came along and supported us. We've just taken a booking to play at the Lethbridge at Bishops lydeard this coming saturday (17th may) - might have to invest in some fans ( the electric ones ! ) if it's gonna be as warm again. See you there !

[Sun 3rd Feb 08] Cracking gig at The Bell last ... Cracking gig at The Bell last night, nice to see so many friendly faces, thanks to all those that came along to see us. Great to see so many people dancing and having a good time. Thanks also for the many kind compliments on our set at the end. We're trying to get a few more gigs arranged and we'll hopefully be recording a demo CD in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space.

[Wed 30th Jan 08] We're kicking off 2008 with ou... We're kicking off 2008 with our first gig of the year at The bell Inn at creech st Michael this saturday night. We've recently changed our line up slightly going up from a three piece to a four piece now that my old mate Ray Robson ( ex guitarist with The Lates) has joined us
New venue , New line up, we're definitely going to Rock should be a good night looking forward to it already.
