 Delta Dukes are jumping Delta Dukes on Sat 19th Jan 08 | |
  The Delta Dukes are a four piece band. They had the Thistle Park in Plymouth absolutely jumping.
They played a range of songs, including Radar Love, most of which were great for dancing.
The lead singer's voice is really tuneful, yet at times so full of passion and gutsy. The guitar playing is excellent, including a bit of slide, and there were a couple of stunning drum solos. | |

 Joker are excellent local band. I think they are without question one of the best local bands in the south west . They are in the middle of changing their set and are trying out different songs as well as introducing their own. The gig at the Millbridge was great although the venues that they play at are becoming too small as their fan base seems to have grown rapidly over the last six months. I have personally watched them for the last 18 months and seen the guys improve steadily. Would like to hear more of their own stuff and would even buy some if available on cd as would several of my friends. So come on guys publish and be damned! | |

| I've seen Joker about 4 times now and they rock... It was the first time I saw them at the Thistle and it was awesome, great atmosphere, good sound and lots of sweaty happy people... I took my sister and brother in law to see them at The Brook and they had a great time and thought the band were fab and will defo be going there again. Anyone wanting a good night with good music should go along and see this band. | |

Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
