good variety The Weary Traveller, Cullompton on Sat 28th Apr 07
The Weary Traveller's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. We went to the Weary Traveller in Cullompton to see Time Machine. It was our first time of going to both - very nice pub and excellent band. We were very impressed with musicians, singer and sound.

The band performed a good variety of music from the 60's to the present day and it was great to hear such a good selection of songs.

We will definitely go to see them again if we get the opportunity.

Weary Traveller Awoke The Weary Traveller, Cullompton on Sat 28th Apr 07
The Weary Traveller's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. It is always good to hear live music and even better when it's done well and to see the band obviously enjoying what they do.

With two lively and varied sets, they grabbed the audience's attention from beginning to end. To be honest I have never heard anyone do such a variety of songs, from Jimi Hendrix (Red House, a personal favourite) to the Scissor Sisters and Coldplay.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and look forward to their next performance.

Well done guys.

Great Band! The Weary Traveller, Cullompton on Sat 28th Apr 07
The Weary Traveller's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. What a great evening! We went not knowing what to expect from the pub or the band. Excellent on both counts.

Not being regulars at a pub, you are never quite sure what sort of welcome there will be but we were pleased and would definitely go back again.

Time Machine played a wide variety of music and we particularly enjoyed the Santana and Van Morrison covers. This band makes a quality sound.

A Good Night Out Bullers Arms, Chagford on Sat 25th Nov 06
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. rated as one of our top reviews This is the first 'pub type' gig I have attended in the UK for at least six years and I was glad I made the effort. As an ex-musician, who is still involved in the business, it was good to hear a local band who were competent and out to pass on their obvious enjoyment of what they do to the people at the gig.

The music was good and their choice of material varied to suit most tastes of the people who attend 'live' gigs. I have a bias towards their sound, which has a solid bass. I feel this enables more freedom for the rest of the band to 'shine'.

Although performing 'covers' they managed to inject 'themselves' into what they performed without losing the 'feel' of the original.

Most importantly, they appear to be aware that there is a need to communicate with the public and to give them what they need and want.

I hope that 'Time Machine' continue to go forward with what they do and reap the rewards that they deserve.

It's all a matter of 'you have to give to receive' and they seem to be aware of this situation.

I hope they continue and I look forward to having more good 'nights out' in their company!
Dave Parsons, Mon 4th Dec 06

[Mon 4th Feb 08] At last we have some new mp3's... At last we have some new mp3's to put on the page.
A big thanks to Jeff at Aardvark for all his help. You are a star mate. We are all very happy with the results and think they give a good idea of what we sound like live.
We hope you like them and will be adding them over the course of the coming week.

Trev fits right into the band and has music tastes as ecclectic as the rest of us. He will be bring a rockabilly flavour to the band as has sung in several bands before. He joins us from cornish band Mid Life Crisis and fired full of enthuisiasm. Come and see him (and us) for yourself.
[Sat 28th Jul 07] After a few auditions and phon... After a few auditions and phone calls we think we have found a perfect match. Trev will be making his first appearance at the The Ship in crediton. Come along and give your support. Photos will follow soon i promise !

This means no more Saturday nights singing and therefore we are now looking for a new singer. (See the ad on Lemonrock for more details). Flash has promised us to carry on and fulfil all our upcoming gigs. So if you do want to see Flash again before he disappears into the sunset yet get to see us soon.

[Thu 21st Feb 08] (From The Rusty Rocker : gig at The Jolly Porter, Exeter on 2 February 2008) : A very enjoyable evening, most impressive was the tasty guitar work and a talented vocalist that projected his voice really well. It's good to listen to a band that does not overpower the vocals and creates a very well balanced sound. I will definitely have these guys on my watch list for future gigs. - The Rusty Rocker
Reply from Time Machine: Thanks for the feedback, Were back there in May, but we have several gigs in and around Exeter b4 then. Come along, say hello. It would be great to see a full review from you some time in the future.

[Mon 4th Dec 06] SEEN THEM SEVERAL TIMES AT NORTH TAWTON AND THEY ARE GREAT ! THE BASS GUITARIST IS VERY CUTE AND WELL WORTH SEEING ! PLEASE CAN YOU COVER DAKOTA BY STEREOPHONICS AND THAT WOULD REALLY MAKE THE NEXT NIGHT GO WITH A BANG ! - TINA BUSH @ TAWTON
[Mon 4th Dec 06] The gig at Chagford was very enjoyable. I found your varied choice of numbers good for either listening or dancing. For me, the bass 'undertow' is what is needed for a band to 'go forward'. I hope to be seeing you again in the not too distant future. - Dave Parsons
[Sat 18th Nov 06] "You was well wicked!" Hah, I wasn't drunk at all =] Lots of love Kayleigh xxxx - Kayleigh
