 Briliant as always Scandal on Sat 26th Jan 08 | |
  Jim and the guys rocked yet again on a great Saturday evening in Abbots Langley. In a packed Unicorn, the band managed to get everyone going with some new and many from the old set. My favourite of the night was 'Basket Case', although Jim made most of the numbers enjoyable.
A great band, a great venue a great night.

Thanx so much to all the guys from Scandal who played at our wedding on 18th Aug 07. We spent ages trying to find the right band to help celebrate our special day and found everything we wanted in Scandal. The Celebrations were FANTASTIC and the band down went down really well with all of our guests YOUNG and OLD! If your're looking for a fab band for your wedding where everyone will be up dancing with a great selection of songs this is def the band for you!
Particular favourites were - the Jam Underground.

 The government is concerned we are drinking too much at home and it must stop. So to keep them happy we went to the pub. Seems like all other obedient citizens went as well because it was packed. This may not be the only reason as a jazz/rock afternoon had been organised. And what an afternoon! Amy Winehouse meets Joe Cocker backed by some excellent musos. The best live music I've seen for a long time. Brilliant. More of it please! At last jazz is making a comeback so switch off the X-files, the X-box and the X-factor; stop watching the jaded, the faded and the no-hopers and get down to your local. Let's give the musos an audience and get some life into this country again. Good advice from the government for a change! Good friendly pub, too. Great real ales and chill-out leather sofas. Large outdoor patio for smokers (while it's still allowed). | |

| Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
