Voodoo Lounge, Plymouth[Music Venue]

The Voodoo Lounge is a trendy cosmopolitan cafe bar set in the centre of Plymouth and being just by Plymouth University, is an ideal student retreat. The bar is very bright, modern and welcoming with a very relaxed atmosphere, not to be confused with a music style bar! Lots of tables, chairs and leather couches on the lower floor so make yourself cosy!
The upper floor is more lively with a dance floor and seperate bar with different events happening 6 nights a week, all focusing more on the theme of music. We also have large panoramic windows showing off Plymouths City centre. Please do note that it is a Cafe Bar and there are various Coffee's, Teas and Chocolates on offer throught the day and night.
Outside is the beer garden located just off the main road with plenty of tables and chairs out in the fresh air. The Voodoo Lounge is located off the main road and is on the Crossroads of the city centre.
The Voodoo Lounge is not to be confused with a themed pub, but a pub with a good contrast between lively and relaxed |

 Great band - great sound Red Vegas on Mon 20th Nov 06 | |
  These guys surely did rock the town. Great set and really varied, loved it all especially the stones, kaisers and well all of it. Really professional gig and nice looking set. Good tight sound and well rehearsed, Are you sure this was your first gig ? Got a feeling we'll see you around a lot more. | |

Good crowd at the Voodoo, for a Monday, to see Redvegas. I remember seeing them several years ago, but this is something very different. New line-up, pro appearance and great variety of material.
After normal techie delays, support was from Dirty fashions, with original material, Hummmmm.
Redvegas kicked off with Oasis and Kaisers. Great first set. loved the whole lot and even better second set. For what is supposed to be their first gig - come on chaps? - the sound quality was very good, even for the Voodoo and it was all nice and tight.
Funny feeling I'm gonna be seeing a lot more of Redvegas.
Keep it up chaps, nice one.
