Bang on! The Vibes on Sat 15th Mar 08
These guys deserve all their cracking reviews on this site 100%. The whole set up and delivery is dead good and each member of the band has something to contribute.
They played at our wedding reception on the 1st March 2008 in Totnes and banged out tune after tune which had everyone on the floor including the oldies. All our guests had so many good things to say about the band and were lining up at the end to find out where they often play. What makes the vibes stand out is not just the variety of songs which they cover, but how well they adjust from track to track to make each one unique. "Chelsea Dagger" and "Supersonic" went down a storm and they dropped in "Chasing Cars" to slow everything down just before the speeches, perfect!
Thanks fellas for making our night rock!

enjoyable Red Vegas on Thu 15th Feb 07
We went along to a packed Thursday night. The band were very entertaining with a great set of old and new covers, something for everyone. Good sound. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as did the band members!

What a band! The Doghouse Blues Band on Sun 23rd Jul 06
If you want an absolutely barnstorming time, this band is a must see! I saw these guys yesterday and they absolutely blew me away! They started with a kick-ass blues rock instrumental and the pace didn't slow down from there - blues rock classics from Eric Clapton/Stevie Ray Vaughan / ZZ Top / Stones and particularly Hendrix, plus some electrified stuff I didn't recognise but still bopped along to nevertheless! The highlights were a manic drum solo from the guy who claimed to have been in Slipknot (sure I misheard!) and the best version of Take Me to the River since the Mechanics. I have never seen a band called back for 2 encores on a Sunday afternoon! Stunning!

| Print Flyers | |
|
|
|
| Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
| Flyers limited to 14 days. Get longer flyers by joining Lemonrock - FREE Music Lover membership! | |
