 The White Hart is a thriving pub dedicated to music and music lovers. The pub is run by a musical family and boasts a nice friendly atmosphere. We have live music 3-4 nights per week and predominantly host Blues and Jazz gigs.

 Best local band around? Louis & the Iguanas on Sat 4th Aug 07 | |
   What a gig! These guys rocked! They've given live music fans something way beyond the usual tired old blues bands currently on the circuit. They properly entertained us with a punching set of varied music styles from big dubby reggae songs to soul, ska and rock n roll. The singers really involved the audience and whipped us up into a fever and "A Message to Rudi" sounded fantastic with the three-part brass section. The Iguanas grooved all night and we danced all night! Why aren't these guys playing every week? If I had a venue I'd book them every night! | |

What a great band!
I had a night off, and I'd seen these buys once before, so I knew it would be a good night.
It's really good to see a band with a horn section who don't just do all the normal Motown/Stax covers. The band played a wide and varied set, the Santana songs were done really well, and these guys prove white men can play reggae!
Anybody who's not seen this band should make the effort, they won't be disappointed. | |

Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page. | |
