Fantastic show the ship, Looe on Fri 6th Jul 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Staying in Looe for a holiday and happened to see the gig advertised, so didn't know what/how good a show to expect. What a surprise I got, superb band, very tight, fantastic guitar work and a vocalist who had the range and pipes to carry off a varied and ambitious set list. Great to hear such a mix of classic/modern rock being played. Definitely a band to catch if you get a chance.

Best Rock cover band ever! The Junction, Plymouth on Sat 23rd Jun 07
The Junction's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. I went to see XLR as a last minute option when the band I had intended to see was cancelled. But, ohmigod!...I was not at all dissappointed!

I was so glad the other band didn't play or I may never have been introduced to what I now perceive as the best rock covers band I have ever seen! Since my first 'accidental' gig, I have been purposely to two more, enthusiastically dragging friends along - who all agree with my first rate opinion of them.

I knew every single song, new and old, and the band gave their all to the whole set. I have truly never heard such a good cover of 'Sweet Child 'O' Mine' in my life, and that's a damn hard song to sing!

I am definitely going to get along to as many gigs that this multi-talented band play as is possible, and look forward to dancing and singing my heart out as I have done previously!

Trust me, they are brilliant!

Hear them to believe Albemarle, Plymouth on Fri 11th May 07
Review edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Almost an empty pub... but the few that were there were totally hypnotised, sang along to all the classics, I sang along behind the bar, even had a little dance (where no one could see of course). Five very talented guys and a stunning singer, amazing; well worth a trip out to see them, and the acoustic bit at the end was out of this world so if you do go to see them stay till the end it's more than worth it. The talent really just oozed out of these guys, will be having them to play again. Remember us when you hit the big time...

Just what the doctor ordered The Phoenix, Plymouth on Sat 28th Apr 07
The Phoenix's pageReview edited by Lemonrock to improve readability, by consent of the band/artist, or owner of the page. Brilliant band with up to date material as well as the classics! It would be great to hear them play more of their own stuff too, though. This band are better than ever, and surely deserve to gig at bigger venues like the Plymouth Sound Party or The Hoe, or The Hub.

My brother and I see see this band lots and the fact is, there is no one like them and we see a great many bands! These guys really are up there with the best of them and I can't wait for the next gig. As well as being great performers they are a nice, down to earth bunch who always make time to come around and chat to their supporters, which is great.

Keep on rockin' boys!
A music fan, Thu 10th May 07

Print 3 flyers per A4 page, with marked cutting guides. Hint: setting your start date to the first of a month, and your end date to the last day of a month, gives a neat heading on your flyer, e.g. setting 1 May 2008 and 31 Aug 2008 as the start and end dates will produce the heading: 'MAY - AUGUST 08'. Try it! You can also set the font size to a decimal value (e.g. 9.3) to make the gigs fit exactly onto the page.
