5 piece Plymouth based rock covers band, who enjoy playing both classic rock from the last 30 years and many tracks from the more recent guitar based bands. Formed in Xmas 2006, from the ashes of various past bands such as Jovio, De-v-8, Limited Edition, Flying Blind and Fallout:

John Bass/ vocals
Pete Drums/ vocals
Form what is now "XLR"
Venues include local popular live music "haunts" such as The Junction, The Thistle, The Union, Cherry Tree and VOT as well as further a field in Paignton's Spinning Wheel, Exmouth's Famous Old Barrel and Liskeard's Barley Sheath.
Our material covers "rock of all ages" drifting between the decades when bands such as Queen, Guns and Roses, U2, Greenday, Brian Adams and Nirvana were artist's whose music was part of our everyday listening. Now also enjoying rock tracks being written and performed by likes of Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Frutelli's and Zutons.
The bands tongue-in-cheek motto of "Commence Rocking" sums up really how we like to see our selves as a band wanting to provide an upbeat, foot tapping sing-along at the top of your voice type of night.......... we'll provide the music and lights and let the audience add to the party atmosphere.
