Allergy [Indie Rock / Alt / Dance, 3 piece]

A top indie band that never fails. Seen them many times and always have a great night, plenty of dancing. A band that finishes with there version of 'Insomnia' I.M.O. Can't fail ! Here's to the next time.
Geoff Hawkins, Monday 12 August 2019It's always a pleasure playing in Enfield, we're just glad you had a good time. Here's to the next time indeed.

Seen this band several times, most recently in The Jungle Bar last night and they really are the best band on the local circuit by far! They are excellent musicians who create a big sound and play a great selection of cool stuff that you won't hear from most other bands and to a much higher standard than most, don't miss them when they play in your area.
Saturday 27 April 2019Praise indeed. It was a great gig with an amazing crowd and we're really happy you enjoyed yourself. Hope to see you again soon.

Would have been nice to have been told before we came down.
Not cool gang. So not cool. Easy enough to put that rather important bit of info on no?
Saturday 17 November 2018Hi, we’re very sorry to hear that, as far as we were aware it wasn’t a private party, the guvnor of the pub put that sign up because the pub was full and he didn’t want to man the doors all night turning people away.
Very sorry if you had a wasted journey.

Great night at the George last night, band were fantastic, I see live bands 3 or 4 times a week, for a 3 piece, this is as good as it gets, will try to get to another of their gigs soon
Saturday 18 August 2018Always a pleasure to play at the George, glad you enjoyed it as much as we did. See you soon.

Second time of seeing Allergy last night, this time at The Victoria in Hitchin - great venue, and the band once again didn't disappoint - different, but just as varied, a set from the one at The Pear Tree in Stevenage a few weeks back. The vibe from the audience was much better this time around with more people there to see the band - and another cracking gig was performed - the effortlessness that all three use to move through each and every song is amazing, particularly drummer Bom who seems to be able to keep the beat almost nonchalantly and yet perfectly. There were the usual crowd pleasers as well as some less well known songs played - I was particularly pleased to hear Baggy Trousers which went down a storm even though "we haven't played it for ages" after much cajoling from me to play it at the end (sorry about that chaps!!). It's great though to hear stuff like Down In The Tube Station, Ever Fallen In Love, Swords Of A Thousand Men and Green Day's Holiday sitting next to stuff like Knight's Of Cydonia, Faithless' Insomnia and others. Definitely looking forward to the next time we're able to come along.

Sunday 22 June 2014Kind words indeed, and I'm sure Bom will appreciate the ego boost. He is a bit good though, isn't he? A hugely enjoyable gig, thanks in no small part to the odd requests from you and the others. It's good to dust off some of the less played stuff from our repertoire. We look forward yo seeing you again.
