Fab gig guys. Loved all the stuff you did especially Ziggy. Shame the Tav wasn't packed, you deserved it.

Davenport Strong

Seen the band several times now and they simply never disappoint. This gig was no exception. With excellent music ranging from classics by Bowie and Hendrix through to current crowd pleasers by Kings of Leon and The Kaiser Chiefs it really was a great night. To hear some personal favourites again such as Virginia Plain, No More Heroes and Gangsters being played so well was a real joy. They are a very tight band that seem to be going from strength to strength and you're guaranteed never to hear the same set list twice. How refreshing is that!

I have seen this band a few times at the tavern but they have a different line up now and this was the best set I've ever heard them play. It's great to be able to walk into your local pub and see a band playing really authentic versions of your favourite songs. I loved substitute, watch tower, and whisky in the jar especially. The guitar sound was bang on for Lizzy and Hendrix. Also really liked the Jam and Bowie stuff. The overall sound was crisp and powerful and the band look like they really enjoy the music they are playing. A nice bunch of guys and great musicians. Thanks for making my evening and looking forward to catching your next one in Letchworth.
